Un Chien Andalou
Esse projeto surgiu da premissa de tornar o curta surrealista de Luís Buñuel e Salvador Dalí "Un Chien Andalou (Um Cão Andaluz)" um livro.
Com o projeto editorial e o projeto gráfico planejados em torno do conceito de desconforto visual/agonia e sub-conceitos de ruptura/corte e confusão, o livro possui OP arts mescladas com imagens para adentrar nas ilusões ópticas. Além disso, as aberturas de capítulo contam com os títulos "fragmentados" em francês (idioma original do curta) e em português, que surgem inteiros se o leitor passar o marca páginas de material transparente listrado em preto por cima. Da mesma forma está presente na 1ª capa, porém, a ilusão ocorre ao tirar o box que protege o livro.
This project arose from the premise of making the short surrealist of Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dalí "Un Chien Andalou" a book.
With the editorial project and the graphic design planned around the concept of visual discomfort/agony and sub concepts of rupture/cut and confusion, the book has OP arts mixed with images to enter the optical illusions. In addition, chapter openings feature the "fragmented" titles in French (original language of the short) and in Portuguese, which appear whole if the reader passes the mark pages of transparent material striped in black over the top. Similarly it is present in the first cover, however, the illusion occurs when taking the box that protects the book.
